A game designer & illustrator tries to return his sense of wonder to its original packaging.
Somehow I think I would have an irresistible urge to bend all of my minis 45 degrees at the ankles to make the perspective match.
I am really looking forward to using these the next time my players and I found ourselves around a table instead of a webcam. One more reason to look forward to Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving gaming session -- a great tradition. I'd love to hear whether your players find the maps useful.
For some reason I never get an email about responses.Since that session was entirely winged I used them as individual set pieces rather than a cohesive whole. Rooms 4, 8 and 10 came into play and the visual representations (vault door especially) added a lot to the experience. Plus working in confined spaces helped me refine my movement rules.
Great feedback, thanks Van. I spent some time at Starbucks yesterday in a caffeine haze sketching some more battle maps. I have enough for a second set!
Looking forward to it!
